Background 2024

The High School CaseCode Competition 2024 served as the foundation for the creation of NEXUS – High School Innovation Challenge. With the participation of 30 teams from various international and specialized schools nationwide, the competition fostered an academic environment where students could develop technological thinking, teamwork skills, and the ability to solve real-world problems.

Building on that success, NEXUS 2026 is designed to be larger in scale, more specialized, and more strongly connected.

About NEXUS 2026

NEXUS – High School Innovation Challenge 2026 is an enhanced and more connected version of the High School CaseCode Competition, focusing on technology and innovation for high school students nationwide.

The competition aims to:

  • Encourage students to apply technology to solve real-world problems
  • Develop creative thinking, technical skills, and project implementation capabilities
  • Create a two-way interactive environment connecting students, experts, and the technology community

THEME

NEXUS

Improving Quality of Student Life by Using Technology

In the modern educational landscape, student life extends far beyond academic performance. Quality of student life now encompasses mental well-being, physical health, social connection, personal safety, time management, and access to supportive, safe and friendly learning environments. While technology has often been criticised for contributing to stress, isolation, and unhealthy habits, it also holds significant potential to enhance students’ overall well-being when designed and used responsibly.

The goal of this competition theme is to explore how technology can be transformed from a source of pressure into a supportive tool that improves the overall quality of student life. Teams are encouraged to examine real challenges students face today and propose technology-driven solutions that promote balance, well-being, and sustainable personal growth. These solutions should focus not only on academic success but also on helping students live healthier, more connected, and more fulfilling lives.
